This section connects you with the actors and musicians who performed in "Scenes and Songs from Fannie Lou: At Carnegie Hall."
We were blessed to have a number of cast members and instrumentalists who graced the stage for our world premiere make a return engagement. There's Jonathan Rodriguez, who portrayed Junior; Lynn Flickinger, who played Mrs. Richards; Michael Moss in the role of Clarence; Jacob Berger, the Reporter; and violist Blake Allen, to name some. Some are returning with new or expanded roles, such as Cheryl Krugel-Lee who conducted the six-member instrumental ensemble for "Scenes and Songs from Fannie Lou: At Carnegie Hall."
Other cast members and musicians were new to Fannie Lou. Dean Temple made his Fannie Lou debut in the Oct. 9, 2014 production in the role of Mr. Richards. Claire Duncan inhabited the role of Pamela. Pianist Dorothy Chan helped bring the music to life. And Karen Stefano, in the title role, helped dramatize the struggles and triumphs of voting rights activist Fannie Lou Hamer.
